Domestic tourists, taking advantage of holiday, cross 2.7 million in second week of November

Cambodia registered in total 2,724,491 tourists in the second week of November, from Nov. 7-13, and of them 2,666,684 were national visitors and 57,807 were internal foreign visitors.

The figures were shared by the Ministry of Tourism in a report released this morning, confirming a positive sign for Cambodian tourism recovery.

The top three most visited destinations during the period were Preah Sihanouk and Kampot coastal provinces and Siem Reap cultural province.

The Ministry of Tourism attributed the high number of domestic tourists during the second week of November to mainly the three-day holiday (Nov. 7-9) of the annual Water Festival. Phal Sophanith – AKP
