In Pictures: 12 meter high viewing tower in Kep aims to bring in tourism
A 12-meter-high observation tower in Kep National Park will aid the promotion of eco-tourism, says the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment
Speaking at a press conference in Kep National Park, HE Mr. Neth Pheaktra, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment, said that he considered that the viewing tower would be another means of attracting tourists to visit this beautiful, small province.
The 12-meter-high observation tower was built at the expense of the sale of carbon credits within the framework of protection and conservation of natural resources and promotion of ecotourism.
The tower is an additional means of entertainment for tourists visiting Kep National Park in addition to the natural beauty, wildlife and Mountain ring road
Mr. Neth pointed out that Kep is the only province in Cambodia that has a national park in the center of the city
The Secretary of State called on national and international tourists to visit Kep National Park and see the scenery of Kep province from the tower.
