In Pictures: Almost 500,000 visitors flock to Sihanoukville for Water Festival
During the three days of the Royal Water Festival, 494,919 national and international tourists came to visit Preah Sihanouk Province.
The figure was confirmed by the Sihanoukville provincial administration.
The administration say that this increase in tourists is due to the launch of the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway and the development of infrastructure, management, clean beaches, spacious public toilets, standard protection, security, order, good sanitation, environment, combined with the organization of events, International exhibitions, concerts, which attract national and international tourists to visit Sihanoukville.
