The Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Shanghai have participated the Third Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Expo to be held from September 22nd –25th, 2021 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, the People's Republic of China.
The Third Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Expo 2021 is participated by 100 sellers from 31 countries, 350 domestic sellers, and 20 local media. The three days event is expected to attract and receive more than 50,000 visitors.
Cambodian booth is 54 meters square for promoting and advertising Cambodian rich cultural heritage, gastronomy, sports tourism natural, eco-tourism destinations and beyond. With the efficiency and effectiveness of a nationwide COVID-19 vaccination administration to be completed by the end of 2021 and an approval of the Royal Government of Cambodia, we are ready to host ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2022 under the theme of “ASEAN – A Community of Peace and Shared Future”, which aimed for region tourism's recovery and reopening toward more sustainable and responsible future to be held in Preah Sihanouk province (Sihanoukville) from 16th – 22nd January 2022.
Take advantage of this opportunity, we also have
announced and campaigned the 32nd SEA Games and 12th ASEAN PARA Games to be held from 5th-17th, May and 1st-10th, June, 2023 respectively in Cambodia with the theme "Sports Live In Peace".
On the 1st day of the exhibition, the Consulate General of Cambodia to Shanghai paid a visit to the Cambodian tourism booth and continue take part in the show's programme.
