Koh Ker Archaeological Park conservation work ongoing despite weather conditions

Conservationist and workers are continuing their work in the preservation of Koh Ker Temple and the surrounding archaeological park and the surrounding area despite the heavy rainfall that have been experienced in Preah Vihear.

On October 2, Kong Puthikar, Director General of the National Authority of Preah Vihear, led a team of professionals to inspect the conservation work at the temple and archaeological park and discuss the development work of the area.

During the visit, the team examined the condition of the temple after the effects of Typhoon Noru hit Preah Vihear. They also held a technical discussion on the conservation of brick temples in the area of ​​Krachap temple.

Puthikar inspected the construction site of the new parking lot in the northeast of Prasat Thom and the preparation for a road to lead into the park.
