Cambodia is hosting the 13th ASEM Cultural Festival under the theme of “Asia and Europe: Cultures Connect” from 22nd-26th November 2021 virtually as well as an on-site cultural exhibition at the National Museum of Cambodia and film screenings at the Major Cineplex, AEON 1, Phnom Penh.
The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts is in charge of organizing the ASEM Cultural Festival under the theme "Asia and Europe: Cultures Connect" as a side event in the lead up to the 13th Asia-Europe Summit 2021 (ASEM13).
The cultural diversity of Asia and Europe will be celebrated at the ASEM Cultural Festival with multi-disciplinary performances, exhibitions, film screenings and discussions aimed at promoting people-to-people connections, sharing experiences and better understanding of cultural diversity that will bring harmony, development and dialogue between the two continents.
