Preah Sihanouk Province, most visited destination last week of June

Preah Sihanouk province was the most attractive destination in the last week of June, followed by Battambang and Siem Reap provinces.

According to a report of the Ministry of Tourism released yesterday, among over 300,000 tourists counted during the said period, 65,872 were recorded in Preah Sihanouk province, while the provinces of Battambang and Siem Reap welcomed 42,473 and 31,634 visitors, respectively.

Phnom Penh capital and the provinces of Kampot, Kampong Speu, and Kep were also among the most popular tourist destinations last week, added the report.

Of the total registered tourists, the source pointed out, 273,055 were national tourists and 33,469 were internal foreign visitors. AKP-Sophanith
