South Korean influencer, television channel crew visit and promote Cambodian tourist destinations

Social media influencers from South Korea visited Cambodia to promote the country’s special tourist destinations.

Peap Pheap, Deputy Director of the Department of the Ministry of Tourism, said that it is a nineday visit from February 1-9. The crew visited Wat Phnom, National Museum, Phsar Thmei and Kampong Luong Commune in Phnom Penh; Kep Crab Market and Kep Beach in Kep and various tourist destinations in Kep and Siem Reap.

Pheap said that the visit was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Information, the Cambodian Embassy in the Republic of Korea and provincial authorities.

“The purpose of this visit is to attract more Korean tourists to Cambodia through influencers, blogger and Korean TV channels,” the deputy director said.
